Any of our own cases can be modified to your own requirements. Custom cases will have an
additional charge if the case is a one off. However if we think that we can sell the design again, then this charge may be refunded. Please contact us with your requirements for a quote. |

This special rack case was made to house 6U of rack equipment. But as most rack cases are 400mm deep, and the equipment is only 230mm deep, this was made as a 3U case that had two parts. Both of the sections have feet so the two units can stack. There is then a power distribution board in the rear cover, which also has room for the power supplies needed for some of the rack equipment. |

| Both sections of the case were made so the lids would fit on either section so the whole case didn't need to be carried all the time. Because the front and back covers fit on to either section of the case, the case becomes very versatile. Allowing for the whole stack to be transported together, or just the required half. | ||

| The whole construction of this case is from ply covered in hard wearing vinyl. The exterior corners are then covered in 1.5mm thick aluminium edging that protects from rough handling. All the ball corners are 2mm thick steel, which are virtually indestructible! The location for each section is aluminium so the lids line up perfectly. This case uses butterfly catches mounted on the top and lift-off hinges on the bottom to hold each section together. | ||
