Case Features
All our cases are designed and constructed in a similar way. We first get the measurements of the
item(s) to go into the case. We then work out how much foam padding (if any) is required around the item. Then from that we have the internal measurements of the case. Knowing the thickness of the materials, we can then work out the external size of the case and the cutting list for the sides and extrusion. We then assemble the case in out workshop all the time checking that the joins are good
and firm. Once the cases are dry, we then glue the carpet or vinyl to the case and seal all the edges. Once this is dry, the extrusion, corners and fixings can be fixed to the case.
Then the interior fittings or the foam is measured and cut and once again glued in place.
Once we have given the case a clean and checked the case is "roadie worthy" it is finally tested
with the item to ensure a good fit and any final adjustments can be made to the design.
